Every Orgain product is stamped with a Best If Used By Date printed on the packaging. The “Best If Used By” date varies by product and reflects the period during which the product is expected to maintain its optimal quality, flavor, and freshness. This date relates to quality, not the safety of the product. You can confidently consume the product up until that date as long as it has been stored according to the recommended storage instructions, and the packaging remains sealed and undamaged.
For best results, store the product in a cool, dry place such as a kitchen pantry or shelf. When kept properly sealed and stored under these conditions, it will maintain its quality through the “Best If Used By” date printed on the bottom of the canister, whether opened or unopened.
Our shakes are shelf stable and do not require refrigeration. However, they are ideally served cold for best taste. Please note, Orgain ready-to-drink shakes should be consumed within two hours of opening if they are not refrigerated, or within 72 hours if refrigerated after opening.
